I'm pretty much a regular at this location. The valet is so convenient because this mall always seems to be packed. Even though the valet is free, I always tip. It beats fighting for spots or having to walk. Walking in, the hostesses quickly greet in a friendly manner. For lunch, I normally sit at the bar (plus I'm dressed more casual), but with impeccable service. For dinner (I dress up a little more) I normally ask for a table which is excellent service as well. The staff really cater to the guest, which I really like. They know their specials, wines, entrees and can pretty much recommend anything depending on your taste. The food is consistently yummy, full of flavor and always cooked to perfection and the service is top notch, which is what keeps me coming back. It's also very clean-which is a big deal for me. They change a few items on their menu from season to season which is nice also.

The service at the this place is amazing. Attentive and helpful. I had the Ribeye with 15 year balsamic marinade. Huge, tasty, juicy and tender! Had a couple of meals from it. I told my 16 year nephew that the next time he is in Boca I'm taking him there so he can experience how wonderful it was. My one friend had the filet mignon in bone. Delicious! Other friend had the tenderloin with poached lobster on top. She ate every bit of it and said divine. Had a nice variety of cocktails to choose from. I wasn't crazy about the dessert we ended up with. (There was a cherry sauce and I don't like cherries). I told the waiter it was 'OK'. Next thing I know he brings over a sample dessert plate with small versions of a few of their desserts. What a great touch. Turned this from a 4 star review to 5 star. Can't wait to return.

Second visit. The food has improved since my first visit a few months ago. I had the New England Clam Chowder. It was delicious and loaded with both potatoes and clams. My wife had the roasted corn soup. Very creamy with a topping of roasted corn. This too was delicious. Her main course was scallops over polenta. The scallops were both large and meaty. The polenta was seasoned perfectly. Delicious too. I had the steak. I ordered medium rare. It came just ad I ordered it and seasoned to perfection. Service was excellent as always. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

As usual, Capital Grille doesn't disappoint. At this location, I ate the greatest lobster I have ever tasted in my entire life - South African. Really just an incredible piece of lobster, tender and sweet like nothing else. I could talk about the sides like creamed spinach and mushrooms, which are our favorite, but they are just as good as any of the other locations. The waiter, it pains me that I can't remember his name, but he was wonderful. We did the Generous Pour, which is 8 wines for $28 I believe. I hope I got that right - but it's an excellent deal. You taste different wines and they continue to pour your favorites. And nothing ends a dinner quite like the wonderful CG cheesecake.

Saturday night dinner was most excellent! Our waitperson was Jennifer and she was the best! We both had steaks, veggies, and wine. Dessert was the creme brulee. Everything was prepared exactly as ordered and even though we are not big eaters, there was no 'take-home'. The food, atmosphere, and service were excellent. Reservations were honored and we were seated right away. This place sets some standards for fine dining in the area. Please go... you won't be disappointed!

My friend and I stopped by for lunch the other day....Prices for lunch were Great, 8 oz fillet with truffle fries....excellent! Carmine the chef stopped by our table to see if everything was fine....we were happy....I will be having lunch there more often. The menu was full of great choices and very reasonable prices for lunch. Thank you to Jason our waiter, the coffee was fresh and hot. Overall, we made a great choice for lunch before our day of shopping..

Finally decided to try The Capital Grille. We had reservations for 7:45 but decided to push them back to 8:15 since we could hit up a couple places in the mall. Showed up around 8 and were seated right away, a definite plus in my book. Started off with my usual Ketal and club, with lime of course. They also brought over a few different types of fresh bread that were delicious. For an appetizer we decided to go with some pan-fried calamari with hot cherry peppers, "their signature appetizer." It was delicious, a bit spicy but not too much. We also ordered a side of truffle fries. That were perfect. Nice and crispy on the outside but a great, soft textured inside. The waiter, Yul, was fantastic and actually recognized me from Abe & Louie's. He took extra time making sure we understood everything on the menu, another plus. For the main course I decided to go with a bone-in Kona crusted dry aged sirloin with shallot butter. The Kona is actually a decaffeinated expresso from Hawaii which really intrigued me. It had a hint of sweet but immediately changed as you bit into it. Ordered medium rare and it came out perfect, loved it. The girlfriend went the filet mignon. She ordered medium and it came out more of a medium well, still good but slightly less done would have been better. Overall tremendous service and great food. Would've given it a solid 5 if the girlfriends filet came out medium. Will definitely come back to try some more.

What can I say unlike Morton's in Boca and WolfGang's in Miami Capital Grill loves my money. Food is great, customer service the best.

I'm giving it a 4 star because they have excellent service and normally great food BUT... We went with our friends the other day and it must have been an off day for them. We were a table of 9 and we all thought that our 'medium rare' steaks were overcooked and a bit dry. Totally disappointing. The creamed spinach was outstanding, the mashed potatoes great, macaroni and cheese delish and so were the desserts. I was a bit embarrassed though with our friends because it was my idea to go there and as we know... they are not cheap. :/

High end dining. Great food but I've had much better service at much cheaper places. The manager was the most helpful and friendly employee at the establishment. Never thought at a place like this I would have to ask twice for my silverware. The stars are for the food. The lack of stars are for service.

The food, service was great. I had the French onion soup and it was great. The steak I went with if the filet with gargon zola on top and a eine reduction it melted in your mouth. Will definitely be coming back.

Excellent food, excellent service, pricey but worth it for a special occasion. Porterhouse steak and lobster delicious, tender and cooked to perfection. Flourless chocolate cake with fresh whipped cream to die for... Potatoes au gratin very rich and cheesy, on the heavy side. Staff friendly and attentive,

Last January I reviewed this restaurant and rated it a solid five stars. Today I am updating my review and taking away one star. I know your probably thinking that I am crazy because this is an excellent restaurant with a great reputation. Over the last few months my experiences have not been wonderful. I have been attending business lunches here once a month for over five years. My networking group has a private room & we order from the lunch menu. I can honestly say that I have tried everything on the lunch menu at some point & have always loved everything. However, these last few months our luncheons have been mediocre at best. It is disappointing when a restaurant you love drops the ball on multiple occasions in regards to both the food as well as the service. One of my favorite things to order for lunch is the Lobster Crab Burger. It is a delicious crab cake made with equal parts of crab and chunks of lobster. Last time I ordered it I had to send it back because it was not fully cooked. Instead of a nice crispy coating it was very mushy and the inside filling was not even hot. Within a few short minutes our server brought my "new" crab cake to me. For starters it was the same crab cake and the plate was scorching hot. It was obvious that my plate was thrown into the microwave. This is Capital Grille not Chili's and I would not expect a restaurant of this caliber to do this. How can you even eat microwaved crab and lobster anyway? My crab cake was inedible. The server never came back to check on me. Because I was with a group of people I did not want to make a fuss. So I ate the side dish & a roll and called it a day. On my last visit both my colleague and I ordered the petite filet. We have both ordered this several times and it has always been cooked perfectly. This time we both ordered our filets medium rare. My colleagues steak came out well done. A good fifteen to twenty minutes passed before our server remembered to check on us. The server noticed that my friends steak was barely touched and she did offer to replace it. The offer was declined because most of us were almost finished & my colleague did not want to hold the group up. Last time I ordered a small salad as an appetizer. I always request the dressing on the side. My salad came drenched in dressing so I asked for a new one. It never showed up. A restaurant on this scale should not be microwaving crab and have spotty service. Most high end restaurants aim to please. Up until about four months ago everything was always excellent. These last few months my networking group has had some sort of issue at each luncheon. Unless my group decides on a new restaurant to hold our monthly luncheons I will still be eating lunch here. I am hoping that Capital Grille will start delivering the same delicious food and fine service that we all have been accustomed to getting.

Always a wonderful meal. Just stopped in for a quick bite at the bar last Saturday. Richard the bartender was the best. Very attentive and professional. Started with the oysters which where perfect, followed up with a spinach salad which was huge...should have stopped there but had already ordered the 10oz Filet. Which was seared to perfection and I'm sure it was closer to 12-14oz... bonus....

Hubby and I took the day off to celebrate my birthday but when we left the house we saw we had a flat tire caused by a fastener that was deeply embedded into the tire's surface. We wound up leaving the SUV at the shop, which caused us to change the day's plans. That didn't ruin the day...but it almost did at dinnertime. We planned on having a late lunch/early dinner with Mom so driving to Boca on a Friday night wouldn't mean fighting traffic. But we got such a late start that by the time we got to the restaurant in Boca, there was an hour long wait to get a table. We didn't make reservations because we figured we'd be eating before most people would be at the restaurant. That was a mistake. So, we left the restaurant and went to the car to look up restaurants on Yelp; when we called a few places they all had long waits. We didn't know where to go and I started to wonder if I'd wind up having dinner at a fast food restaurant! But we wound up at the Capital Grille because when I called and spoke with manager Isabel Cosby she said they could seat us at their patio. When we got there Isabel greeted me and I told her we were there to celebrate my birthday. Well, she promised to "turn my birthday frown upside down"! We were seated at the patio and within minutes champagne, birthday confetti, a birthday card, and fresh hot rolls were placed on our table! Yeah baby! Before the night was over, she compted us 6 glasses of champagne and a dessert of assorted baked goods and berries! That was so nice! We ate like royalty! We had: Seafood platter: 6 ice cold raw oysters, a whole chilled lobster, and 6 jumbo shrimp with an assortment of sauces. Simply delicious! Bone-in kona crusted sirloin steak: This was the softest, most tender, perfectly cooked mid-rare steak with a crunchy coffee crust! Wow, wow, wow! Broiled 2 pound lobster stuffed with crab meat - with the claw meat stuffed into the lobster's body for eating ease, it was a semi-lazy man's lobster: The lobster was juicy, flavorful and overstuffed with crab! Seared sea scallops over mushroom risotto:The scallops were sweet with a great sear but the risotto seemed like rice with thin planks of cheese under it and slices of mushrooms over it. It tasted good but it was not a traditional risotto IMO. Side dish of Brussels sprouts with bacon: thick chunks of well-cooked bacon rendered fatless with Brussels sprout halves that were not mushy - this was flavorful and a real treat! Dessert: Coffee and a platter of flourless chocolate cake and creme brulee cheesecake served with mixed berries and whipped cream. The fruit was delicious - hubby and Mom said the cakes were great and they ate them both; I've been watching my food intake and while I had real bread tonight for the first time in a month and a half, I didn't want to eat cake. Hey, I had - I'm embarrassed to say- 4 glasses of champagne so I got some serious calories in without having cake! Our server Lauren Jasky was so professional and caring that we each felt like she was our friend and not someone we just met. Lauren was on top of everything and Isabel even came by our table to make sure we were happy - we were beyond happy, we were thrilled by the service, food, and genuine concern for our satisfaction. I had a better birthday meal than I ever expected and I seriously can't wait until tomorrow to enjoy the leftovers!

Went to Capital Grille (Town Center Mall-Boca location) twice in the last month and the food was excellent. For main courses we had the steak, 3lb lobster, salmon and lamb chops). For apps and sides, we had the lobster mac-n-cheese, dozen oysters (from CT), mashed potatoes (amazing), mushrooms and brussel sprouts. The food was prepared perfectly and the service was impeccable! They also have a nice selection of wines (in fact they have wine lockers for regulars) and the desserts were also great (we had the chocolate cake). The Boca location is a great restaurant for a special occassion, business lunch/dinner, a bite after a long day of shopping in the mall or grab a drink at the well-stocked and professionally-staffed bar. Good experience, give them a try!

I went here for dinner with my husband. The service was great and the waiter was very attentive. I recently went from vegetarian to pescetarian. Aside of steak they have a great variety of seafood dishes which was great for me. They also have a good selection of side dishes to add on. I did request a gluten-free menu. They have one upon request. They are able to adjust some of the dishes to dietary needs. After dinner I asked about gluten-free desserts. My question was about the creme brûlée. The waiter went ahead and put in the order once he checked with the kitchen. He also brought us a small portion of the flourless cake which I thought was a great gesture. Both the desserts were fantastic. I love dessert so for me that is a great enhancement to my experience.

Been there 3 times and never officially complained about a place before. #1-great steak #2- awful. Out of specials and bring you something slapped in your plate all fatty, nervy and not what you asked for. #3- after complaining...gift card...my first ever redemption dinner...steak over cooked for one guest, undercooked for another. Waiter says oh great and walks away! How can a steakhouse screw up the temperature of both of your guests during a redemption dinner?!? Never going back.

Went here this evening for dinner with the wife. While the food was exceptional like always, the service was nowhere near as good as we had grown accustomed to. Patrons visit these establishments for the excellent food and high quality service . Unfortunately on this occasion, the service was mediocre

Capital Grille used to be my go to steakhouse because it had consistently great food and service. Service is still great but the food has gone down hill. The filet was grey last time and they were all cooked to the wrong temperature. Lobster mac and cheese is consistently great. I hope they fix their quality issues!

It was between two steak places today and we chose The Capital Grille. We walked in about 3:00pm so they were still on the lunch menu. The host took the party's name and showed us to our booth. We chose the booth for comfort and it was. When the waiter came up he addressed us under the party's last name which I thought was unique. We ordered water and were given the choice of sparkling or still. We chose still. He brought out a large named brand water and after pouring it put it in a chilled ice holder. I noticed that on the second pour. Our water was always cold without the unnecessary ice in the glass. Nice touch. The first thing you notice when you walk into The Capital Grille is all the wine bottles. It gives the place a nice ambiance. I really like the warm colors that they use on the booths and walls and the large paintings are a nice touch as well. There weren't too many people there so it was quiet at the time. We both ordered steaks. Heck, if you are in a steak joint its best to order steaks. If you don't, it's like going to Hawaii and not watching the Sunsets.. Our waiter was a nice person and gave us the specials. He also told us about the new lunch menu where the portions are a little smaller but the food comes out faster. This is for lunch people with time limits. In fact, the first thing he asked us was if we were limited in our time. I like that strategy. Nice touch. When he was telling us about other foods not on the menu, he would tell us the price of the item after stating what it was. For example, the had a lamb chop from the dinner menu that they could turn into a lunch menu item and then gave us the price of the item. Again, nice touch. Our waiter spoke clear and concise and answered any questions we had. I asked what type of seasoning they used on my steak and he said Lawry seasoning. I thought that was odd. I would think they would have invented their own special seasoning but what do I know. I guess the aged steak is the secret to it all. My steak was like biting into butter. Boy was it good. had a nice garden salad with light dressing. It was very fresh. All the lettuce was bright and green. The service was good. Overall it was a nice dining experience. I would recommend this place to anyone and recommend that they come around 3pm. The Lunch prices end at 4pm.

Capital Grille is consistently good in every location I've ever visited. Their steaks are awesome, their generous pour is indeed more than generous, and their lunches are sinfully good. See my reviews on the Fort Lauderdale location for more details.

Was good. Had the 10oz filet and it was cooked perfectly. The service was ok. The waiter did not take a pre-dinner cocktail order and several of those in the group wanted one. However the waiter kept running away as soon as he stopped talking. 4 stars for the food, 3 for the service. 2 for the price which is exceptionally high.

Bday celebration and perfect experience throughout. Great tag team serving led by Daniel. Flawless starters to Main and sides to dessert on the house. Best chain luxury concept in marketplace today. We'll be back soon.

Excellent service, good food but high prices. I came to Capital Grille to have dinner with a business associate. We started with a few drinks at the bar (kettle one martini) where I had my first blue cheese stuffed olive (excellent). We moved to the dining room after an hour is so and were seated in a nice booth. The service was excellent with a waiter coming by within a minute or two to take drink orders. We ordered our meals and waited patiently. The appetizers although good are seriously underwhelming for the price. I had a wedge salad for $12 which was ok but nothing to write home about. My guest ordered the clam chowder which came in a little cup, again a little underwhelming for the price. On to the entrees. We both ordered the filet mignion which was very good and cooked correctly but at $42 (steak only) again underwhelming for the price. The sides we ordered were the spinach (wilted) and the lobster Mac and cheese. The lobster Mac was phenomenal but the spinach was a little to salty. Because our entrees were late (took about 30 min), the waiter comped desert which was excellent. A chocolate tart and a creme brûlée' cheesecake were offered with capachinos....all excellent. Overall it was a good experience but again for the price a bit underwhelming. I just think there are better values in the area (Madison's or JAlexanders) where you can get a great steak for a lot less. Check for two was $200 minus free deserts. A bit much I think.

Really good food. Good service. It took bout 30 minutes to get my son's crayons n color book to keep him entertain, but outside of that everything was good. If they would of paid closer attention to my son's needs I would of have them a 5 star. Okay. I take my last review back. I just asked for the check and they brought me the wrong check and I know I didn't wrote this on my first original review, but it took for ever to get my bread and I asked for more bread and never got it, so a hour visit they made 4 mistake. What a poor service for a high scale restaurant. Ohhh, and the bill they broughtr was $150 more than my bill.

Made a reservation using yelp! here for our anniversary. I was very happy that the atmosphere is very classy with most people wearing semi formal evening wear. It made for a nice evening. The service was impeccable. I love that everyone that goes by your table to ask if you need anything knows your name and uses it as if you were a regular. As mentioned before, my wife and I went for our anniversary. They decorated the table with confetti and left a little card as well. That was a really nice touch. The menu is definitely on the high side but for a once a year meal that is superb, it's worth it. The appetizer of prosciutto wrapped mozzarella with tomato was amazing. While we waited for our meal, the server apologized for the delay, though we hadn't noticed any. He then came around and gave us complimentary salad. Which, even though I'm not so much of a salad person, was really good. The meal came and was awesome but I couldn't finish it because of the bread and salad. They surprised my wife with a red rose and both of us with complimentary dessert. It was a great evening that they made memorable with also a nice photo in a take home frame. I'd definitely recommend it.

They have completely redeemed themselves after my last visit. We went here this past week (Thanksgiving week) and didn't expect to see that many people but there were more than I expected. The bread basket is still the same nice variety, with one large lavash/cracker crisp, slices of dark pumpernickel with some raisins, an Italian focaccia, and sesame hard rolls. Our appetizers were the salad, lobster bisque, and steak tartar. Salad and lobster bisque were delicious. The bisque had a lot of lobster in it for such a small cup and the flavor was good. The steak tartar was a little disappointing. Usually the beef is much more finely chopped. The beef pieces were chopped too big. Also way too many capers, should have only had a thin layer but the layer was about 1/2 inch thick and the saltiness of the capers was overpowering. The last layer on the bottom was the chopped egg. Nothing to write home about. The steaks this time were done to perfection. The last time I mentioned that the Kona encrusted sirloin with shallot butter was missing the whole shallots on the side. I guess they did away with the whole shallots and instead just have the shallots minced in the cream, because that was the same way the dish was served again tonight. Despite the missing side shallot, the steak was perfectly seared on the outside and tender on the inside. The porterhouse was also done to perfection. I have to mention that the mushroom side dish was fantastic. Great selection of mushrooms that were crisply roasted on the outside. The best we've had from there ever. In our many years of going there, this time was probably the best food we've had from the restaurant. The bill was hefty though, with tip it was almost $500 for 4 people. The large bill was probably due to the drinks, sides and desserts I guess, because our dinners were only between $44-$48 each. Every little bit adds up...but who's counting when you know you're going to spend a lot before going there, right?

We came here for a group dinner prior to our conference starting earlier this year. It is consistently nice like all Capital Grille's I have frequented. The service was fantastic and the food was great too. My steak was well prepared and the sides were the perfect pairing to a great steak.

Eh. This steakhouse was just okay, in my opinion. I've had better. The drinks suck, no alcohol in them, & the food is overpriced. Typical Boca hype though, old people who have too much money, don't know what to do with it so they come here & blow it. I'm not a stuck up person, so I don't fit in & it isn't the atmosphere for me. I prefer Ruth Chris over this.

White glove service without the white gloves. The Capital Grille is on the pricey side but absolutely worth every penny. For birthdays in our family, the birthday person gets to choose the restaurant and I chose to go back here because it was so good on our other visits. When you are seated the hostess makes it a point to replace the white cloth napkin with black if you are wearing dark clothing I had a fresh mozzarella and tomato salad with aged balsamic and it lived up to my expectations. The basil alone was outstanding. I love the smell and taste of fresh basil. In addition to the sliced tomato and mozzarella, there were chopped tomatoes and basil covered with the balsamic vinegar. Yum. My husband chose the lobster bisque and it came with two nice chunks of lobster. For the main course I had the lamb chops which looked to be a whole rack sliced into double chops. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare and I ended up bringing half home. My husband ordered the Delmonico which was also perfectly cooked. Have I mentioned the garlicky truffle fries yet? I could make a meal of just these. They are perfectly crisp on the outside with a soft center and very garlicky without being too much garlic. In addition, we ordered a side of creamed spinach - very tasty. The Capital Grille handles special occasions with great finesse. The hostess station makes it a point to say happy birthday or happy anniversary when you arrive and your table has a card and is decorated for the occasion. And the birthday dessert is fantastic. I kind of had to smack my husband's hand because he wanted the creme brulee type cake and he knows that my favorite dessert ever is creme brulee or flan. However, the chocolate one is nothing to sneeze at. It is the richest creamy chocolate fudge that just melts in your mouth. Of course, we will be going back before the next special occasion, if for nothing else, just to enjoy a great time out.

Everyone deserves to be treated like royalty, especially when it comes to food. This place is expensive and worth every penny of the bill. We decided to upscale our date night to a fancy dinner with the fixings. Take advantage of the valet that is offered since parking at the Town Center isn't quite a breeze. We were seated promptly with our reservation confirmation and was greeted among the staff that was taking care of us. The dark wood and the wine cellars made the steakhouse scream sexy. Bread, butter, and crackers started out the evening and our waiter went over the entire menu before we made our selection. They usually have the lobster bisque soup, which is not on the menu, so ask for it if you don't see it. I got that and it was nice. Chris got the wedge salad with blue cheese and bacon. It was quite larger than what I thought it was going to be and he couldn't finish it all. It was probably a good thing since we didn't want to blow up before our entrees came. Both of us got the filet mignon and it was cooked according to our likings. The butterfly request was met and the famous bearnaise sauce was included by request. I love, love, love this sauce and I fully indulge in it when it's within eye distance. It makes a difference when it's topped with that good stuff. We split the rich and creamy mashed potatoes and it was enough for three. We opted out of dessert since we had no room left over in our bellies. The special treatment and impeccable service will not be forgotten. Professionalism goes a long way and the night was a divine one. It's one of the best steakhouses to eat at. Period.

This is one of my all time favorite steak places in the area. However, the last time I went left a sour taste in my mouth. The food was great as usual. But our server apparently likes to prejudge what type of tips he might make and adjusts his service accordingly. Since my wife and I look like we are barely twenty, I guess he figured he was not going to be getting a big tip. Maybe he should have realized that a typical twenty year old wouldn't be out at a place like this on a weekday night. Because we were barely eating for 10 minutes when he came around and started to clear out our table. He even took a half finished appetizer off the table that we weren't done with without asking!! This is not the type of service I expect to get at a place where the check comes to $150-$200 on a meal for two. I will be going back as the food quality has stayed consistent over the years. But if this level of service becomes the norm I will be taking my business elsewhere.

The prices were disappointing compared to Abe & Louis' where we ate 2 nights earlier. Bottles of wine at Capital were 4-6 times retail cost; reasonable is 2.5 times retail. Wines by the glass cost what the whole bottle costs retail, except a glass is maybe a sixth of a bottle. Our Field Greens salad ($10) was minuscule with $1 worth of ingredients or less. The entrees were very good, but not really worth what we paid - a 7 oz filet and a lobster tail for $59? $10 less would've been reasonable for a high end steakhouse. Note: the free tap water at the table is not filtered, hence tastes disgusting - probably not a problem in other areas. Better restaurants in South Florida usually filter their water. Capital is trying to get you to buy the water too.

Measured against other high end Boca restaurants, I give a 3 star rating - but compared to other Steakhouses by NYC standards, I give it 4 stars. Why? NYC-style steakhouses have gruff and often substandard service - so that is what I expect. This Boca establishment is excellent by those NYC standards but still misses the mark on top-notch service by Boca standards. For example, when we asked for a cocktail menu, it took 15 minutes for our waiter to bring one... orders were delivered to the wrong people... one salad had no dressing... one espresso was not delivered, the check had an extra dessert added in.... Again, not stuff you'd expect for an expensive dinner but kinda par for the course for NYC steakhouses. The food was excellent - although they don't age their beef as long as some other places so their steaks are juicer but not quite as flavorful as some others. Overall, a very nice experience - just adjust your expectations on the service and all will be good.

We were celebrating a special anniversary dinner for my in-laws and our party of 9 was seated in the Mizner Room upon arrival. Nice decor and lighting but everything for me stopped there....First of all when paying $50 for a steak, $12 for a salad and $12 for each a la carte side dish you don't want to experience your meal in the same room with a noisy 3 year old in a high chair. I have children and I love little ones although there is a time and a place for everything. I was seated last after leaving the car with the valet. I must have missed the offering of the black napkin, so I asked. The waitress told me that there were plenty at the hostess stand....nice.....after 20 minutes I visited the hostess stand to retrieve my own as I was wearing dark pants. Then 30 minutes later the waitress laid down a black napkin next to my plate with a "Better Late then Never" comment as if this would redeem her tardiness. Service all around was poor from the timeliness of drink orders to the delivery of food (oh yeah she forgot my salad). I started with a chopped salad, yeesh, completely pedestrian in color, flavor and taste. For the main I had the 10oz filet with a lobster tail, yeah barely warm and both pieces were dry. This place has steakhouse prices but not steakhouse service or know-how. For the same money you can experience an unbelievable meal at Ruth's Chris.

Best Steakhouse in Boca. Going here for years. This is our 'go-to' restaurant for special celebrations and events (need not say more.) Even when restaurant is fully booked on weekends-their team of 4 hostesses plus managers run it flawlessly- and does not feel congested or too "noisy' even on a Saturday Night. Most important- you really get what you pay for here. Great selection of high quality- perfectly cooked meats from aged and Kona crusted steaks - to the best perfectly seared lamb chops in South Florida.

Had heard good things about Capital Grille, from someone who had been to the one in Galleria, and tried it for the first time with my cousin and her husband on 10/16, at the Boca location. In summary it was excellent, viz., : (1) The waiter was top-notch. (2) My spinach salad, and the au gratin potatoes we shared, were awesome. (3) For the first time ever, I ordered steak au poivre in a non-French restaurant. I had a little trepidation about how it would come out, but it was amazing, and cooked to perfection. So, I would recommend this place to anyone. Don't look for bargains, however...all the steaks were at least $40, a la carte. One nit, which most people would not care about, was that they had no draft beer, only bottles.

Great food... Great Service... went out with some friends and had the Kona crusted steak and it was fantastic. Service was on point but dessert tasted maybe like it had been on the older side. Overall it was great

Rude and incompetent hostess. Incompetent waiters. Rude manager. Pretentious ambience. I hate these types of places. After you put up with all of this, then the food is good.

I think a restaurant that is charging such outrageous prices for there limited entrees have even more hutzpah to charge for every side dish. Their food was nothing special and the ambience was noisy and dark. I do not recommend patronizing this "grill".

Expensive but hey, you truly get what you pay for here. A1 service and very good to excellent food. Steaks are the specialty but don't overlook the seafood which is also surprisingly very good. In my years of visiting different Capital Grille's I've NEVER had a bad meal or service. Incredibly consistent and worth the splurge.

Having been to the Capital Grille in Boston recently I decided to check this one out. The food was good....not fabulous though and the service was horrible. I sat at the bar and there was only about 4 other people here. The bartender forgot my wine and it took about 15 minute to get it. She would also disappear for extended periods of time.......not what you would expect for a $30 lunch.....

I've been to many steakhouses and by far this is one of my favorite ones and this is THE fave in Florida! I've always been one to order a ribeye over any other cut, but since my other two colleagues were going to get the ribeye, i figured i'll give their porterhouse a try knowing that I've always been disappointed by porterhouse from many other places. But I must say, their porterhouse was freakin amazing! They've grilled it just right and it was still juicy and extremely flavorful. I think every time I come back, I'll definitely get the porterhouse again. We've also tried the bacon wrapped mozzarella, they've claimed that they make the mozzarella fresh in house every couple of hours and you know what....I BELIEVE THEM! The mozzarella was amazingly fresh and smooth and after being bacon wrapped and grilled, it was warm and soft...amazingly good! I do not, however, recommend the carpaccio. Not sure what they did to the meat but there was too much pepper and an earthy flavor that didn't bring out the natural flavor of the meat.

Exactly what I had hoped for when celebrating my son's high school graduation. With family in town, I had reserved a table over OpenTable.com . Made it easier and reservations could be changed if needed at any hour of the day or night. All the servers were aware that this was graduation celebration as I had told one person. However, everyone who came to the table, including the floor manager, congratulated my son. The servers were personable and prompt. The main dishes are mostly a la carte. I had the Filet Mignon and it was tender and cooked to perfection. You can share the sides family style and each portion is good for 2 to 3 people. Never pass up the Lobster Mac and Cheese. Fabulous. Beautiful presentation on the complimentary dessert with Congratulations in chocolate on the plate. We also received a complimentary photo of the table to commemorate the celebration. Our leftovers had a small thank you note with the chef's signature. The meals, combined with outstanding customer service, and the little touches that make a celebration special is why I gave Captial Grille a 5. I cannot wait until a reason for the next big celebration to visit again.

Pricey BUT its worth it. If you stop by, you should try their Stoli Pineapple martini. They actually leave the pineapple in the stoli for days, it just tastes delicious. it's very good. They are always very nice. I love it there!

Very nice. It is located at Town Center Mall. What a treat, shopping and nice lunch. I had combination lunch, choosing from starters, main, and sides. My boyfriend had salmon. Hostess was a bit snappy, but the rest of the staffs and manager were very friendly, efficient, and accommodating. I would like to come back here for dinner, maybe for my boyfriend's birthday. Very nice.

3.75 Typically I'm not a huge fan of chain steakhouses. Capital is class through and through. The service is usually impeccable and I do enjoy myself when I'm there. But everything I've ever had there; I've had better at nearby steakhouses. It's an ideal place to have a business lunch and speaking of lunch, they have these great filet sliders that make a nice alternative than your typical hamburger. Like most steakhouses, they have a few soup options which are solid. As usual, I do get the French Onion. It's good, but again not the best. The thing about Capital Grille, much like Ruth Chris, Mortons or any other chains, they provide you solid dining experience. You know you'll get good food with great service. Unfortunately, I'm in the boat who prefers great food and good service. The Capital Grille is a nice option and you won't be disappointed with the food, if you go in there with the expectation of it being yet another chain steakhouse with better than average food on their menu. If you think you're going to get the best steak you've ever had, think again. It's not cheap and you can get more bang for your buck, but I'm guessing many people go to Capital for the experience more so than the actual food. Having been to the Boca location close to a dozen times, I can honestly say I prefer the crowd and food options (including prices) at lunch than dinner.

We went to Capital Grill to celebrate and we both got the lobster bisque, split a spinach with warm bacon salad and the traditional surf and turf. Everything was excellent. The lobster was tender and flavorful, the steak was melt in your mouth tender and prepared exactly as ordered. Our server Richard Tucci was outstanding. He is the epitome of an excellent server. Be sure to ask for Richard. The restaurant was decorated for Christmas early is very colorful and well done. We had a totally enjoyable time and meal. 5 STARS ALL THE WAY

Filet mignon the best meat I've had in years. Gluten free menu. Service excellent except for keeping water glass full. Creme brûlée for dessert very creamy. A place for a special dinner.

Great food even better service. Obviously steaks are good, truffle are great. Try the lobster Mac and cheese - it's exceptional. Stay away from chicken (mine was dry). Oh - and the sirloin hash is served with an egg on top and be sure you ask what it is or you may be surprised (I was and sent it back).

$200 gift card + Capital Grille = a very Happy Birthday! Actually The ONLY knock on this place is the noise level due to the open kitchen. I have never been a fan of or seen the need for an open kitchen. It is not as if you are actually going to watch a chef in action. Normally it is chaos back there. Thanks Diego and JT for a wonderful dining experience.

Wow. This place is worth EVERY dollar. Don't let the outside fool you, as soon as you walk into this swanky restaurant you are kindly greeted by 2 staff members to seat you at your table. They kindly offered me a pillow for my bak and a shawl for my shoulders. Upon ordering my steak, I ordered the Calamari which was fried to perfection. Off the a la cart menu, I ordered the French onion soup, the asparagus, as well as the mash potatoes as sides to my aged steak Au Poivre with cream sauce. This was honestly to die for. For desert, I ordered the cheese cake and was surprised how quaintly it was served. Again I was In Heaven!!!!! If your in the mood for great food, great service and a great night out, this is the place! Just remember, you get what you pay for so prepare for a generous bill!

I ordered the chilean seabass in mushroom broth (delish) ...and truffle fries (not much flavor) but not bad. My friend odered the steak...he said it was the best steak he.has ever had. I took a nibble and he was right. He also ordered the mushrooms and mashed potatoes as sides. Both yummy. They do have a large wine menu however....we brought our own malbec wine that is special to our liking. They charge an uncorking fee of 25.00 which to us was worth it considering the prices of the bottles...and we knew we would enjoy our own wine. Service was excellent. Overall great experience! :-)

I love CG. I know whatever location I go to I can count on consistenly well prepared food and if I have someone to impress, this restaurant is always a good bet. So when the opportunity came to try out the Boca location on The Flavor of Palm Beach menu, the W and I jumped on it. Excellent salad(although small portion than usual), real tasty burger with truffle fries; and a delicious chocolate torte cake all for $22? So wish they were running this menu all the time! Service could have been better, with a bit of inattentiveness, which I found surprising. Also the minuscule salad was so noticeably smaller than their normal size salads, that it made me feel like I was eating a discounted meal, which is so not what Flavor of Palm Beach is trying to impart to it's participants. That said, will so come back here.

Truly outstanding, stands apart from most if not all the surrounding places I have been to eat. I dare to say one of if not the best dining experiences I've had in Florida. I have handed out five stars in the past generously but this establishment truly is five stars. Though a chain restaurant and attached to a Mall, it is still upscale. The decor is very elegant but not over the top, with a sort of traditional study from and old British estate feel. It has lots of wood trim and wood molding an oil paintings on the walls. The service was terrific, the staff are professional servers not just some kids taking orders. We had Richard serve us our food that day and he was great, knew the menu and I figured it was important to ask for suggestions as it was my first visit there. They have a big wine selection and for a summer lunch menu and nice selection to choose. My girlfriend and I ordered the calamari for starters and fired nicely not greasy at all. It was cooked with peppers and that was a nice touch. The bread was very fresh and the butter served on a separate plate was elegantly presented. I was amazed that though I was extremely thirsty and only drank water Richard came by to always refill my drink without me having to ask. He must have came by about half a dozen time to have to refill my drink and not once did i have an empty glass, I thought that was very good. I had the Filet and ordered it medium and it was grilled perfectly. My girlfriend order a salad which seemed to have very fresh ingredients and I am not one for salad let alone dressing but their dressing was great. It wasn't overly sour nor was the salad drenched in the dressing. The desert, a flour-less chocolate espresso cake, was amazing. The presentation was great and the flavor was rich and texture was fluffy despite being flour-less Nothing was done overtop, and I thought that was what made it special. The presentation of every plate we had was great and service impeccable. as a tip i'd call ahead for reservation for dinner and depending on the day lunch as well , can be expensive but I've been to more expensive places that are of less quality. Thus I found it fare priced based on the prepartion, presantation and service.

We had dinner here last night. I had a medium filet that was very well prepared. Michele was our server and she was attentive and courteous. The price tag is high to dine here but for a special occasion it is certainly worth while.

This is my favorite steakhouse and I am glad they finally have a restaurant in Boca Raton. The location is part of the Town Center Mall with free valet parking. The ambiance is an upscale New York steakhouse without the NY attitude. First of all their signature drink is the Stoli Doli - a martini made with Stoli vodka soaked in Dole pineapple cubes for about a week. This is a super smooth martini and a must order before dinner. Also, if you are in the bar, ask for the fresh made potato chips as they are awesome - kettle chips. Everything on the menu is 100% fantastic and the most difficult thing is determining what to order. My favorites are: Lobster bisque appetizer - this is one of the best I have ever had Any steak is fantastic here, but I really like the Delmonico Parmesan truffle fries Creme brulee

Wife and I stopped in early on a Friday evening for dinner prior to a movie. There was one other table of two at the time and maybe a couple people at the bar. We ordered lobster-crabcakes and shrimp cocktail for appetizers, and they were outstanding. My wife ordered seared tuna, rare, and I ordered the porterhouse medium. My wife's tuna was very good and properly cooked. The porterhouse I ordered however ,came out medium well too well- done and the waiter agreed. We sent it back he said it would just be a few minutes and they would get me another steak. Unfortunately, I knew there would be trouble when the next porterhouse steak came back in five minutes. Clearly the cook had seared both sides of the steak for approximately two minutes Per side and the piece of meat I received back was extremely rare. I sat while my wife enjoyed her seared tuna and the manager came by the table to apologize. Initially, the manager said they would be taking the porterhouse off our bill. I was Extremely frustrated that I was unable to eat dinner while my wife ate her meal. The manager realized the whole meal should be comped because it was ruined, and that is exactly what she did. The manager gave my wife and I her business card and asked us to call to ask her by name next time we would like to come and she would handle our reservation. While I very much appreciate that gesture, we left her business cards on the table and unfortunately will not return to the Capital Grille in Boca Raton. Steaks are not hard to cook; and at a place like the capital Grille they should come out perfect every time. Two stars only because the appetizers were very good, otherwise this was a failed experience.

After visiting another Capital Grille in another city, I wasn't sure I wanted to revisit another CG in any city. Well, we sure were thrilled we made the choice to try them again. Last night, we had an outstanding meal. We tried the steak au poivre, filet minon with lobster, and porcini dusted rib eye with balsamic reduction. All were flavorful and cooked to perfection. My only very mild disappointment was that the balsamic reduction was a little heavier than I'd have preferred and lent an acidic and mildly sour flavor. Even so, I thought all of them were delicious. We had two sides: steamed spinach (great) and a wonderful potatoes au gratin that was fantastic. The array of breads were warm, fragrant and too irresistible to eat a single piece. We ended with a sampler of deserts--cheesecake, dense chocolate torte, and key lime pie. The chocolate was phenomenal. Most of all, the service was perfect 5 star. Richard our waiter was attentive and wonderful, and the manager, Bobby, was warm, welcoming and genuine. We'll be back!

Saturday night, I met friends of mine to have dinner. We made reservations and from the minute we walked in to the restaurant, I felt special. We had a great attentive (not too attentive) and informative waiter, Michael. My friend started with the Lobster bisque! Totally rich and creamy. And lots of lobster. My dinner was the porterhouse. Perfectly cooked! and so much that I had over half to take home! My friends bronzini and lobster/filet combo were also delicious. And we saved room for dessert. OMG! the desserts were to die for. My cheesecake was so light and creamy and I loved the caramelized sugar top! The flourless chocolate cake was unbelievably decadent and the creme brulee also did not disappoint. It was a very expensive dinner and that's what prevented the 5 stars, but if you want a really lovely dining experience, I would not hesitate to suggest capital Grille!

5 STARS all the way..The time you park your car at the valet till the time you get back your car, this place is just what every establishment should achieve to be. The ambiance of the restaurant, the cheerfulness and the welcoming by the hostess, the greats drinks by the Bartender, great knowledgable service , keeping the water glasses full and wine flowing and last but not the least -the Food, everything was just top notch and I would definitely choose this place for every special occasion in my life!! The food was amazingly cooked. Of course this being a steakhouse, the meat was the star but what was equally amazing was the sides. Lobster mac n cheese , the spinach and the mashed potatoes were super yummy and the perfect compliment to the Kona crusted Sirloin I had. Also realized why Detroit is so messed up!!! All the good people from Michigan are down here working in Florida !!! The bartender (from Detroit) was so respectful, welcoming and made some awesome drinks. Our server (of course also from Detroit) was one of the best I have ever come across. She took such good care of us with over indulging or over bearing on us, giving some excellent recommendations and explaining every sauces and cuts to the finest details. Even she helped us to choose the Riesling and Cabernet Wine leaving all of us very very impressed. For our group this experience was a wonderful gastronomical journey. Enjoyed every bit of it and cannot wait to come back!!! Thank You.

Service was impeccable even for 3 private parties going on at the same time, food was delicious, calamari with hot cherry peppers, bread basket, field green salad, filet with brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes and flourless chocolate espresso cake for dinner with some nice red wine makes this carnivore chocolate wino lover a happy girl. The to go box had a nice note signed by the chef saying thanks for dining with us. def a great experience.

Best meal we've had in Boca: superb service, excellent food, priced competitively with other top steakhouses, only better. Will definitely seek out branches close to home! Their appetizers are excellent, and even their bread basket is a sign of the care with which they treat their customers.

I am not impressed at all with this place. 1st off, I did not make reservations for here. There was no holiday and it was about 4pm on a Sunday. Why make a reservation right? Well here is how the place operates. No reservation, you must be seated in the bar section. We were seated next to the patio door. Mind you, there was no one in the restaurant. Not that it was not busy. I mean, there really was NO ONE eating in there. We were the only ones there at that time. Every table in the place was open. During our time there, maybe 6 parties entered to eat. So, we could have been able to be seated with out a reservation. Now back to our table...in the empty restaurant where they could have put us anywhere. There were two tables outside being served. I said no one was inside the place, not outside. It was so cold out, I have no idea why anyone was eating there unless they were staged so that the wait staff could open the door and let the freezing cold air whip across the table. The waiter walked outside. The water guy, the bread guy, the waiter, the water, the water, the waiter, the manager....the door was open more than closed. The food? 5 dinners were ordered plus two sides and two salads. Two dinners went back and took so long to prepare correctly that both were comped. My dish was just fine. I had Porcino rubbed Delmonico steak. I had no complaints. It was better than Ruth Chris (I hate that place...been to different locations) and better than BLT in NYC. Maybe it was just the cut because the other guests (the ones who actually had a chance to eat) were not impressed. The sides were OK. I don't even remember what they were. That's how "great" they were. Overall it was not so great.

On a Saturday night, we ended up with a 8pm reservation. As expected, this resaurant at the Mall was fully booked. I started with a Heinken, the Wedge Salad (not as many bacon pieces as other CGs) and had Swordfish as my main course. The W ordered the sides: Lobster Mac, Creamed Corn with Bacon, Mushrooms and Asparagus for our party of 8. There were numerous desserts on the table, but I actually resisted the Chocoate Cake, Cheese Cake and Flourless Chocoate Cake. There is free valet parking in front and in the mall parking lot,

I have eaten here with large groups, small groups, and by myself at lunch. I work, but do not live, in Boca, and am mostly a little more casual, borderline redneck than your typical Boca Diner. I have eaten all over the world at the highest end (even rednecks can do this, it is known) and the most overrated places. In comparison to my regular haunts, CG is comparable, or perhaps a hair behind, Abe & Louie's just down the street for food quality, originality, and taste. From a drink perspective, CG is just ahead. Wine, CG takes it, and service...well service is probably the best or tied with the best, in South Florida, from the hostess stand to the waitstaff to the mgmt. I have had thank you cards sent to my office, follow up phone calls from mgmt and hostess, and while dining, no one has ever missed a beat. I have never had the same waiter twice, and still I say, after maybe a dozen visits, the service is exceptional. CG takes the steak race by far with its Kona-crusted beef, the seafood is awesome, and fresh, from apps to specials. I grew up on lobster rolls, and theirs are very nice. (Beans in Delray Beach are better, but thats the only place. Morton's and Ruth Chris in Boca are some of the worst across the nation for their respective franchises, and pale in comparison. Trulucks is gone, and outside of Bluefin for Sushi, and the Italian place on Palmetto next to the Intracoastal, in Boca you can do no finer. The only unfortunate issue is being part of the mall, but that will ensure its survival. Prices are reasonable, low in places for the product I liked it so much, I talked myself, and my lawyer, into a wine locker. I give this a 4-4.5 stars, and...that's all I've got to say about that.- Skip

I want to speak to the people that know what a really great steak tastes like without getting your head ripped off on price...This is a fine line I'm walking. If I'm paying up for a steak, I better get a whole lot better quality and execution.... As most of you know from my reviews I'm not talking to the people with more $$$ then taste (most of south Florida).. I'm talking FOOD!!!!! So that being said this place is outstanding on both quality & service. I have been to several locations in total about a dozen or so times and NEVER had a bad experience. The Kona-crusted beef is just that good but all their food is amazing. I don't eat fish out that often (I know for a fact most is so old they need to cover in sauce) but then again most people never caught their own & cooked it the same day..... but their tuna is amazing, get it super rare... If you want a truly GREAT meal & service then go here!!!!! If you disagree then go to Ruth Chris, The Palm or Mortons and pay for..........

Dark, wooden steakhouse atmosphere. It is a chain which is why I don't give five starts, but I still like it and have never had a bad meal. Everything is a la carte. The servers are prompt and attentive. Your table is scraped of crumbs. My steak is always exactly how I order it. If you like martinis, I strongly suggest a dirty martini with the blue cheese olives....to die for!

Our daughter was driving home from her visit to Orlando, and we did not want her to eat a late dinner so we met her at Capital Grille which she has never been to. We heard they opened up in Boca Raton recently so decided it would be a nice meeting point. We made reservations not knowing how busy they would be. Immediately, taken to our table the server came over and said "oh you must be Mrs.____." Very nice touch! Made you feel special, they do such a great job reviewing their reservations. Having been to everyone of their locations, this one was no different. Beautiful dark wood decor, the wine cellar and lockers are amazing. This restaurant has the very best of the best wine selection and always have great specials. Last night they were offering Duckhorn Merlot which normal price on menu $120.00 and they offered it at $60.00, great price but hubby did not want a bottle since we were driving back to Miami......very smart......so instead I just ordered two glasses of a decent Cabernet. I have always enjoyed this restaurant due to the service and consistency of food. Our server was "Souni" he was amazing. He did not skip a beat. The restaurant became quite busy and he had alot of tables and he amazed me at how he handled all of us. He is a trainer for the company and WOW, they got it right!! By far he was the best server I have seen in a long time. Food: Complimenatry chilled shrimp bisque- very good flavor with a nice touch of spicyness to it. Ceaser salad- good Filet- always a good choice, cooked perfect, flavorful and moist. Bone In Ribeye- Husband licked the bone to the end. Dessert- Crem Brulee very good. Great evening, impeccable service, always consistent, can never go wrong here. From the professionalism of all the managers to the staff, they really do an excellent job. Always a huge fan!!!

Tasty filet mingon. Perfect Chopin Martini. Rude/condescending hostess with very curly dark hair. Good waiter but support-staff was lacking; twice they tried to serve our food to the table across the way. They also forgot to bring my father's $10 baked potato for the entree course. Mushrooms were perfectly roasted and asparagus just ok. Some of the best pumpernickel raisin bread I've ever had; so fresh and doughy with a crispy crust. Loved the ambiance and decor.

Let me start by saying, this is my favorite steakhouse (or at least tied for number one). I keep trying other steakhouses, and I keep coming right back here. I love steak, and I love The Capital Grille. When you look at the menu, you'll notice there isn't a huge selection. It's one page, and they fit appetizers, desserts, entrees, and chef recommendations on there. But that's okay, because the selection they offer, they do right. And that's right by me. I'd rather you offer me a few things and do them really well, than offer me a huge selection and do them just pretty okay. I've been to many different steakhouses in South Florida (most of them on several occasions). If you are looking for a steak with flavor, and a little extra 'oomph' that will put a nice big carnivorous smile on your face at the end of your meal, then this is it. I HIGHLY recommend the Porcini Rubbed Delmonico. It's a ribeye that is literally rubbed in a porcini mushroom powder, and then glazed with a 12-year aged balsamic vinegar. If you've ever had a real aged balsamic, then you'll know that you're in for a treat here. The flavor that this steak has is absolutely insane. You will likely require medical attention after your taste buds explode. You've been warned. If you're not a ribeye fan (hey, some people just aren't), then I'd suggest the Sliced Filet Mignon. It's not too big, not too small, and each slice of filet seems like it was separately cooked and treated with love. By the way, when I say "slice", it's more like a medallion. They're each about a quarter-inch thick, and about 1.5 inches at the longest diameter. This dish is served with the most delicious and flavorful onions, as well as wild mushrooms. I can't tell you how incredible the steak/onion/mushroom combination is; you'll have to try it for yourself. But it's definitely incredible (this could be coincidence, but the other steakhouse that's tied for my favorite also serves mushrooms and pearl onions to accompany your steak). They also do drinks right. They have a good wine menu, and their mixed drinks are pretty well done. I have to admit their Pineapple martini is fantastic (they basically marinate the pineapples overnight, if I remember correctly), and they shake it at your table. Delicious. To be honest, I'd love to try their seafood sometime, but if you went to a car dealer that let you pick any car to test drive, and they had a Lamborghini on the lot, would you risk driving any other car and wasting your visit? I think not. That's how I feel about the Delmonico and the Sliced Filet. I've tried some of their other things, and really it's all fantastic, but I would be very upset if I walked out of there having tried something else that wasn't as mind-numbingly amazing as the Delmonico. As far as price goes, it's spendy. Make no mistake, you're coming to a high-end steakhouse, where everything is a la carte, and you will be spending $40+ for virtually any entree on the menu. Add to that the sides, and maybe an appetizer or dessert, and you are looking at a decent chunk of change for two (it was about $200 last time for my family of four). That being said, it's worth every penny. It's worth repeating: IT'S WORTH EVERY PENNY. You don't have to come here every week, or even every month, but if you think that's an insane amount for food, then budget ahead of time and treat it like a mini-vacation for your taste buds, because that's EXACTLY what this is. And if you still can't stomach the price, then they have something for you! There's an extra menu that affords you the opportunity to pay $35, and get an appetizer, entree, and a dessert (I believe that's the combo... I could be mistaken). Ask about it if they don't hand it to you when you sit down. I only consider price to be ridiculous when the value is disproportionate. At The Capital Grille, it is certainly worth the price. At a place like NYY, where my mediocre steak by itself was about $60, and the quality is less than half of what you get here, the price is absolutely ridiculous. The only downside is that this place is attached to the Boca Town Center Mall, and if you didn't spend enough money at The Capital Grille, then you will make up for it if you walk into that mall. P.S. Jason is great. I've had him as a server the last two times, and he's funny, attentive, and an overall pleasure. Ask for him. You can't miss him, he's 6'8".

We took my Dad here for his birthday, last night, thanks to the excellent reviews on Yelp and several great experiences at the Miami location. Everything about the service was superb. Christian, our server, was very helpful and polite. The bus people assistance was above and beyond that they should have a special name for them. Very professional and helpful. The management is out there greeting people and seeing that everything is perfect which is probably the reason everything else runs so smoothly. And now the food, the spinach salad was very good but dressing was a bit sweet for my taste. The wedge with tomatoes and blue cheese was delicious as was the steak and Alaskan King crab claws. My step-mother loved her roasted chicken and her crab meat appetizer was scrumptious. The best part of the meal, however, was the flourless chocolate cake! I guess by leaving out the flour, there is more room for the best ingredient, chocolate. Simply divine. Only drawbacks were the sides. We had mushrooms which had little flavor and the string beans were overly seasoned with garlic and something else we were not sure what it was. Just the same, given the service, the entrees, the wedge and the dessert, Capital Grill was an easy 5 star. Bravo, Capital Grill Boca Raton! We will be back, soon!

The Capital Grille in Boca Raton presents an interesting contrast between food and atmosphere. On the plus side, the food and service are excellent. Portions are generous, steaks are cooked to order, and everything was delicious. On my visit, I had a 34-day dry-aged ribeye that was perfect. Their wine list offers numerous options for all budgets. The managing partner is French and helped me select a nice Bordeaux. I was impressed with their selection of after-dinner drinks; you don't often see Chartreuse on the menu. The decor is classic steakhouse - dark tones, big paintings, etc. Service is top-notch - patrons are referred to by name, your take-out bag has a note from the chef, if you are celebrating a birthday they will decorate your table with confetti and you will get a note thanking you for selecting them for your celebration. They were willing to provide smaller portions (pasta, steak, etc.) for our 5-year-old dining companion. On the negative side, the tables are crowded together and it is very, very, LOUD. Granted, it was Saturday at 7PM, but still...... With my eyes closed I could picture being in a New York City diner during the lunch rush. And the tables were quite close together in the main portion of the dining room - at times it was difficult to maneuver between them. If one is paying top prices for food and service (again, both are outstanding here) one expects an atmosphere to match. Unfortunately, the Capitol Grille in Boca Raton does not deliver in this regard. I have been to their Tampa and Fort Lauderdale locations, both offered a much quieter, more intimate atmosphere.

Best steakhouse in Boca hands down. Service is always amazing and the food is always equally as good. Try the calamari, chopped salad, or crab cakes to start. Follow that by a delicious filet or crab stuffed shrimp with a side of au gratin potatoes and roasted mushrooms and you are all set. Make sure to save room for the coconut pie. IT'S A-W-E-S-O-M-E!

Hello Yelpers...Caution! Your taste buds must be properly rested and ready for this place!! Sign says: Great steak ahead!! However; If you don't know how to order a steak, or haven't been anywhere but a few cheap steakhouses or Chains. Please listen carefully...Yes this is a "chain", but the local people make a difference. This is a fine dining experience sure to please...IF you are willing to listen to suggestions, and ask questions if you don't know how something is prepared, you will have an awesome dining experience here! About a week before, I made reservations using Yelp/Open-Table, it worked flawless and we were seated immediately. While it is a "chain" and is attached to the mall in Boca. It is not your "typical chain", or mall restaurant. I have eaten at Ruth-Chris Steakhouse and left thinking it was "OK". This restaurant had a really classy feel, upscale but not so stuffy to feel out of place if you are not "dressed up". Our waitress Amie was perfect. Knew the menu items well, and good wine suggestions for pairing with our dinner selections. We started off with the smoked salmon (sushi style) that was a great start. They give a nice combo of complimentary breads, but (for me) would have liked some olive oil and seasonings to dip. (I am sure they would have obliged had I asked, but not a big deal) The wine list is pretty extensive and finally had settled on a few selections. Our waitress Amie (seeing my distress, lol) was able to convince me of a great wine that paired well with our steaks. While we have dined at many upscale places from coast to coast and many places in-between, this had to be the best steak I have ever had. The Porcini rubbed Delmonico with Balsamic vinegar...cooked to the right temperature, thick and juicy...WOW! This steak was huge and every bite was perfect. Everything is a la carte, so we ordered a half order of the four kinds of roasted mushrooms and a half order of the asparagus. The other entree was a sliced filet mignon with cipollini onions and wild mushrooms. Again, cooked to the right temperature, thick and juicy. For our dessert we decided to share the Chocolate Hazelnut Cake, and glad we did. The slice seemed like a quarter of a cake! Delicious and went well with the espresso (which was perfect, not starbucks burnt flavor - perhaps helped by the fact the head chef here is Italian!). To finish things off, a nice aperitif of dessert wine that just topped the evening. As with any restaurant you can catch them on a bad day and maybe end up with a waiter that is ready to go home. Our visit here was perfect in every way. The manager asked how things were, the assistant manager asked. The plates were cleared timely, and our water (and drinks) were never empty. Our waitress Amie was attentive, knowledgeable and never bothersome. We intend on going back for another special occasion soon! Check out their website, the menu items and what you expect before going. There are some less expensive items that could get you out the door much cheaper with a burger and a beer, but why go to a fine dining restaurant for that?

My parents-in-law live in FL and go here. I don't like writing bad reviews but this restaurant in a shopping center needs to be called out for their outrageous, insulting rip-off prices. $50 entrees need to be exceptional and none were. Branzino, $45., small, dried out, no flavor. 10.00 for a cup of onion soup? Really? A chopped salad was bad salad bar-- overdressed, no flavor, not chopped. oysters, good enough. lobster, small. They do steak here and if you want one, go. The service was also great so no fault there. But when i think of the dinner for 4 we could have had for these prices... glad i wasn't paying.

This was my first time going to their location in Boca Raton we usually go the 1 in fort lauderdale but Boca is alot closer and I am glad we went this is my favorite location the staff is amazing its 5 star treatment from as soon as you walk in the doors.. We started with a bottle of champagne and the amazing Lobster Bisque and Lobster and Crab Cakes, then for main course the Dry Aged Porterhouse Steak au Poivre with Courvoisier Cream, for sides we got Au Gratin Potatoes and Lobster Mac 'N' Cheese and then for Dessert the Cheesecake with Fresh Berries and glass of Dolce... Everything was perfection my steak was cooked perfectly and the portions are huge... The Lobster Bisque isn't always on the menu so I recommend asking for it because it is amazing.... I highly recommend coming here....

Nothing wrong with chain food if it's good. Not THE best steakhouse in South Florida, but very good, complemented by excellent service.

The Captial Grille is an expensive restuarant and our food was good. We had the filet and it was excellent. The problem is the service. After we ordered, we waited over 1 1/2 hours to get our food. It took 20 minutes to get a refill on iced tea. We seriously thought our waiter left for the evening as it was 20-30 minutes between seeing him in our area. Never really experienced service this slow before. The waiter was nice enough and apologized. The manager came out and aplogized as well and they offered free dessert and coffee. We only ordered one dessert. The crazy part is that after we received 2 apologies the service somehow got even slower! This is a real shame as the food was quite good. That was the onyl thing that saved this from being a 1-2 star review. We heard someone else as we arrived complaining about the service. We should have known then to turn around. For the price you pay here, I will be dining at some of the other great restauarnts in the area.

I have been to many steak houses, and I would say that Capital Grille ranks up there with the best. Had filet with lobster mac/cheese and sauteed spinach. All were top notch and excellently prepared. My Mom really enjoyed the pumpernickel in the bread basket. And here's a nice touch. When the waiter packed up the leftovers, knowing that my Mom enjoyed the bread so much, he packed a couple of extra pieces of bread in the bag. Now THAT's above and beyond service. Highly recommend Capital Grille.

This is a typical chain steakhouse for the area, no special frills. The beef is typically cut well and the waitstaff is attentive but not obnoxious. The only reason that it did not get a higher rating as it is season now and getting in is difficult and the bar area is very crowded.

I love Capital Grill, they have excellent service and the best steaks- better then all the other steak houses in the area. They do certain months with special 3 course dinner specials.

OMG, what a great place this was! I was looking for a good steakhouse and so I looked on Yelp, and this one was on the top of the list. It does not disappoint. There is an informal dress code, yet many were dressed nicely (except for my wife and I, lol). We were really casual, and were treated like ROYALTY! From the staff at the door who greeted like long lost friends, to the gentlemen who took us to our table, to our awesome waiter, Brett, who brought our drinks without being called, and catered to us as if we were the owners, to the Managing Partner, Alev Ersory, who just came over to see if everything was alright. Then the food...glorious food! We both started with the prosciutto wrapped mozzarella (lightly seared), which had the cheese melt in your mouth (I ordered some marinara sauce, which was sooo good for dipping); their bread basket was fresh and hot, with various rolls and the tastiest pumpernickel bread I've ever had, and finally...the steaks. We both ordered medium ribeye steaks, which were cooked perfectly (Dominic's steak, I believe they were called), and my eyes rolled in my head! Mmmmmm mmmmm!!! Their french fries were fresh and crispy, and that was it, we were stuffed. It was an awesome experience and we will be going back...but we have to save up a little for it. It's a little pricey, but not over the hill. Just a "special" place for special times or once a month. Be prepared to be pampered and treated like the royalty you may wish you were...or think you are...or are. AWESOME!!! I would give it 10 stars!

My third time at Capital and last. I am a huge steak eater and this place never wows me. I ordered a filet, I asked if they had bone in filet but they didn't?I ordered it medium rare and it came out overcooked & dry. I sent it back and ordered it rare plus, came out better but not great. Not juicy or tasty just eh. I was really not impressed. Chops & Mortons steaks are far superior. I will not be returning.

Great restaurant, very professional service and amazing Steaks. I've dined a few times at the Capital Grille in NYC and also in Florida and each time have come away impressed with the great service and food. Went there with friends recently and the Strip Steak was excellent as well as the Lobster and side dishes of mushrooms and potato gratin. Very highly recommended.

Filet Mignon for dinner $41-43, comes with nothing, sides are extra. Very tender, more flavor than some places, but not as much as Ruth Chris. Baked potato was good, came with butter, bacon and chopped green onions. I had the Porterhouse and it was very thick, almost 2". The problem with that is they have a hard time cooking it correctly. The fire needs to be a little lower, the outside was starting to get burned at only Med Rare. Ice Tea is a little over priced at $3.25, its not even flavored, just plain Tea. Overall, good food, nice decor and if you like wine they have two pages full, the menu is only one page. They have wine lockers for repeat guests who want to stock their own. Deserts are mostly around $8-10, one small page and again two pages of after dinner drinks. For the money I prefer Ruth Chris or one of the other steak houses. Overall, nice place, little pricey for the quality and quantity of food, but if you like wine you have to give it a try. Richard was our main waiter and did an EXCELENT job! There are two private room area for meetings, and small outside seating that overlooks the parking lot.

This is easily one of the best restaurants in the Plam Beach area. At first going to the Town center mall expecting a great restaurant was worrisome but once inside the Grille is its own world. The ambiance, service and food are all top notch. The wait staff is extremely helpful and knowledgable. The food and drinks were exceptional.

Nice atmosphere. Excellent service. Impressive $30 wine list. But, for the price, I wish I could give it 5 stars. Steak was god but far from the best I've eaten (prefer Ruth's Chris in a heartbeat). My friend's steak was over-cooked and she had to send it back. Sides were OK. Go there for the wine and atmosphere, but for the price, I'd look elsewhere for a great steak.

Very good food I had the ribeye and my wife the filet. Both cooked to perfection. The sautéed spin ached was tasty and the calamari was fresh and I like the hot cherry peppers. The back room they put us in was extremely loud I actually couldn't hear the waiter. There was a party of 20 there. The manager noticed and moved us with no hesitation (no drink though) lol .......I liked it and will be back

Everything was awesome and the service was impeccable. If you are interested in the type of food they serve, then it will be the best in the biz for you..when i say "type" of food, i mean, american style steak house. One of the main differences between this place and any other steak house (ex: abe and louis) is that they are apart of the Darden chain of restaurants, which means that you are getting great quality food and service at a reasonable price and it will always be consistent. The inside is nicely decorated and looks like the cigar room of an old, rich man..there are old pictures and animals on the wall, interesting sconces and cool statues. They have a lot of wine too and are pretty good at their recommendations. Also, they have a service, im not sure of the cost, but it allows you to rent a personalized locker inside the restaurant where you can keep your wine bottles and some other personal dining stuff, maybe your silver spoon, or your extra awesome steak knife..
